Danean Wright serves as Finance Director for the Bay County Road Commission. She oversees the organization’s financial, personnel, and administrative operations and helps ensure that Road Commission resources are managed responsibly.
The Administration and Finance Department provides financial and administrative support to every Road Commission department. Its work includes accounting, payroll, budgeting, purchasing, employee benefits, records management, and other services essential to the organization’s daily operations.

Managing the Road Commission’s accounting and financial operations

Preparing and administering the annual budget

Processing payroll and employee benefit information

Providing accounting support to all Road Commission departments

Processing payments to contractors and suppliers

Collecting and recording payments received by the Road Commission

Maintaining financial, personnel, and administrative records

Assisting with purchasing, insurance, and required financial reporting
