2026 Construction Project Map
🚧🛣️ #FixMIRoads happening now! 🛣️🚧
Our 2026 Countywide Township Paving Project is set to begin May 11, 2026. This project encompasses multiple roads through 7 townships.
📍 Work will start in Williams, Beaver & Kawkawlin Townships with milling and resurfacing in:
🔹 Auburn East Subdivision
🔹 Carter Ridge Subdivision
🔹 Gray Hawk Subdivision
🔹 North Union Road between Garfield Road & 9 Mile Road
🔹 River Road & Seidlers Roads between 9 Mile & 8 Mile
🔹 Boutell Road between Mackinaw & M-13
⏳ Roadwork is expected to last approximately 8 weeks
🌦️ Schedule is weather dependent because MI likes to cycle through all 4seasons before lunch.

🚧 Road Closure Notice 4-27-26🚧
Please be advised that Beaver Road between 9 Mile Road and Garfield Road will be closed to all traffic due to bridge deck repairs.
📅 Duration: Approximately 3 weeks
Detours are posted to guide motorists around the closure. Please plan ahead, use alternate routes, and allow extra travel time.

🚧 Midland Road (Carter to 11 Mile) Update - 5-11-26 🚧
⚠️ Midland Road is CLOSED to thru traffic. Local traffic may experience delays during certain operations.
🏪 All businesses within the closure remain OPEN and accessible.
🚦 Expect heavy congestion at 11 Mile & Midland most of the week due to construction and flag control. Best to avoid the area if possible.
📅 Monday - 💧 Installing 12” storm sewer from hse#1566 to hse#1546.
📅 Tuesday - 💧 Installing 12” storm sewer from hse#1522 to hse#1506.
📅 Wednesday - 💧 Installing storm sewer on the north side from 11 Mile to the storage units.
📅 Thursday - 🚦 Catch basin & storm sewer work continues at 11 Mile & Midland under flag control.
📅 Friday - 🚧 Prepping sidewalk, curb, and gutter.
🦺 Please use caution and allow extra travel time.
